Description I turned this bowl from a big slab cut from a fallen sycamore. The wood has developed colour, with the wandering black lines often found at the junction of the different fungal zones growing in the timber before it dries. This bowl also has ripple figure, which forms in the growing tree where the wood is stressed, such as where a branch joins the trunk. Related
